ENVIS NIOH 

An ENVIS NIOH center on occupational  and environmental health has been setup at National Institute of Occupational Health 
Ahmedabad, under the ENVIS scheme of Ministry of Environment and forests. This center started functioning in 1984 with the following major objectives:

  To document information in the form of reports, research publications and studies carried out by NIOH on occupational and environmental health.

To generate and disseminate information on occupational health oriented action programs. 

To conduct awareness on occupational and environment health through seminars /workshops.

To respond to the user queries both nationally and internationally.

To co-ordinate with the focal point for supplying relevant and adequate information to end users.

To develop a wibsite on occupational  and environmental health for easy accession of information of all concerned through          Internet.
